Reed Gift Fairs is thrilled to announce that they will be partnering with Small Business Victoria for the upcoming Melbourne Gift Fair.

With a focus on the Melbourne Showgrounds, the partnership highlights the importance of the event for many in the small business space. Reed Gift Fairs showcases the largest annual collection of wholesaling brands and products in the country, and from designers to retailers, buyers to sellers, the Reed Gift Fair is a place of business, creating genuine leads, connections, and sales for exhibitors and visitors.

In addition to generating business, learning is a large aspect of the event, and this year’s on site educational sessions will be complemented by the presence of Small Business Victoria’s Small Business Bus. On site at the Melbourne Showgrounds, the ‘travelling office on wheels’ will offer free business advice via the small business mentoring service.

Victoria’s Minister for Small Business Philip Dalidakis will be attending the event on Monday (6th August) during the fair at the Melbourne Showgrounds to meet with business owners and to see firsthand the impact that a show like Reed Gift Fair has on local and national businesses.

He said of the partnership, “The Victorian Government is thrilled to support the Reed Gift Fair Melbourne, which gives small local businesses another platform to show off the diverse and high-quality products Victoria is renowned for.”

Reed Gift Fair Melbourne’s alliance with Small Business Victoria will also see a selection of Indigenous Australian owned businesses showcase their products. Authentic Aboriginal giftware, souvenirs and products reflecting the Aboriginal culture of south-east Australia, will be on display from the following businesses:

The addition of these new Indigenous exhibitors adds another layer to the myriad of products available at the event, which is timed to be of most benefit to retailers ahead of the Christmas and summer buying period.
